Who we are
Bristol Drainage Pros is a call-connection service operated by ACTIVEDOTS LTD (trading as Bristol Drainage Pros), company number 17234408, registered office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described below. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- When you call us: your phone number, the date and time of the call, how long it lasted. We do not record calls. We also note what you tell us about your drainage problem and your postcode or address so we can connect you with a suitable engineer.
- When you visit this website: basic, anonymous statistics about visits (pages viewed, rough location, device type), provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics, and search performance data from Google Search Console. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To answer your call, understand your problem and pass your details to an independent engineer so they can contact or visit you. Legal basis: it is necessary to provide the service you asked for (contract) and our legitimate interest in running the service.
- To keep call logs (number, date, time and length of call) so we can measure how well our service works and deal with complaints. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- To keep records we are required to keep, including for tax and legal claims.
Who we share it with
We share your name, number, postcode and a description of the problem with the independent drainage engineer we connect you with. That engineer then handles your information under their own privacy policy. We also use service providers, such as our phone service and website host, who process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Call logs and lead records are kept for up to 24 months. Website analytics are anonymous and kept for the period set by the provider.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service. To do this, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
